ZZ Top, one of the few bands to have survived since the 1960s with the original line-up of the Tres Hombres – Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard…and yes he is the one without the beard.
In any other band the gimmicks of the beards, the spinning guitars and the Eliminator car would just get to be annoying, but with ZZ Top even this cannot detract form their brilliance or the fact that Billy Gibbons is a genius. You also get the feeling that he is a top chap too. If I had to choose one man to hang out with in a strip club, I’d choose Billy.
